Unlike some Universities, WT has a dead day before finals, not a dead week. A single dead day of no official campus activity where most students, instead of studying or resting, end up going crazy.
As I type this, there are about 250ish college students, mostly drunk, mostly members of athletics, or the girls who chase the athletes, running around the pool and sand volley ball court of my apartment college. Only a small portion of them actually live in the apartment complex. A surprisingly large portion of them are urinating on the side of the buildings.
I wanted to capture pictures, both for the sake of this post (drive the point home) and reporting it to the manager above our local office manager, but my digital camera isn't functioning properly.
Anyway, all that is to say there is one day a year when I don't particularly like living at this apartment complex. And that day is today.
